I have been a Chartered Physiotherapist since 1994 and my special interest is in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. I spent 7 years working in the NHS gaining valuable experience in various specialities, which were predominantly musculoskeletal and orthopaedic based, before moving into private practice in 2001.

I gained my certificate in teaching Pilates in 2003 from the APPI (Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute) and I incorporate it regularly into my individual treatments as well as teaching group classes.

I have always been interested in how physiotherapy can help and support the ageing process and the importance of exercise and movement as we get older. This has developed further in more recent years to include the management of osteoporosis and the peri- to post-menopause years especially as I am at that time of life myself! I have completed several courses on the menopause including the Menopause Movement course and am committed to educating and supporting women through their menopause and the importance of exercise and movement at this stage of life. I present a workshop called "Health & Wellbeing Through Menopause and Beyond" which has been very well received and I look forward to continuing with this work.
