I have worked in health and fitness for over 20 years, working as a Personal Trainer, Healthy Communities Instructor and Sports Massage Therapist, currently. Understanding more about the stages of menopause has been fascinating, not only to help my clients and patients, but also to understand more about my own perimenopausal journey so far. Working in exercise referral it has helped me understand many of my clients situations medically better than I would have before. I currently run Move Through Menopause programmes at Middleton Pool and Fitness Centre, this is helping build a supportive community, educate and importantly get women moving in fun ways while they are learning more about this new stage of their lives.
