I have enjoyed attending Pilates classes for almost 20 years, always knowing that Pilates helped me to achieve a stronger, toned and more flexible body, so I finally took the plunge and followed my long held dream to become a teacher. I trained as a Classical Mat Pilates Teacher with Exhale Pilates in 2020. I am so glad to finally share my love of Pilates with others, watching their progressions and sharing their achievements week on week.
Whilst teaching I discovered that many of my midlife ladies were asking me a lot of menopause questions, so I then decided to cement my knowledge of the menopause by completing the Menopause Movement Professional Development Programme (from Positive Pause) and also the Menopause Awareness for Pilates Teachers courses.
I hope to use these skills and my own personal experiences to run Menopause Movement and Wellbeing workshops in the coming months in collaboration with others in the Health and Wellbeing industry.
