I have over 20 years of teaching experience & continue to be passionate about the benefits of movement and how it can can help improve physical and mental wellbeing.
I initially qualified as a PT with YMCAFit, then with the world renowned Body Control Pilates Association and qualified to teach on the mat & equipment Pilates, (Reformer, Cadillac, Ladder Barrel and Chair). I have also completed a 200hr RYT with Sally Parkes Yoga.
My experience of teaching continues to be in both public and private health clubs, as well as running my own home studio and weekly live streamed classes.
I am a lifelong student, committed to ongoing professional development and continue to study & share new research, ideas and challenges with my clients. My teaching style comes from a desire to educate, motivate and empower my clients with energising, fun and uplifting exercise.
My Movement For Peri-Post Menopause course, offers a holistic approach for women during the peri/post menopause phase. The programme offers Resistance Training; Mat & Reformer Pilates; Cardio Pilates; Nutritional guidance and lifestyle management.
I am a member of Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity and hold current public liability insurance and first aid/CPR certification.
