Although menopause will eventually happen to every woman, the lack of education and dialogue surrounding this important life stage often leads to confusion, embarrassment, frustration and a feeling of losing oneself. Although many women choose to take HRT to combat menopause symptoms it is often not a complete panacea and there are also many women who choose not to go down the HRT route or who cannot take it due to medical reasons. Looking holistically at how your diet and lifestyle habits affect your hormone balance and making meaningful changes in those areas can produce a radical transformation in how you experience the menopause, whether you are taking HRT or not.
